No school today. So we had to find SOMETHING to do! It was pleasantly cool this morning and I decided it was worth the risk to go to the zoo. (the risk was that it would be CROWDED. It was not!)
We have zoo passes which makes the trips much more enjoyable. We can stay for an hour and then leave without feeling like I’ve wasted a ton of money. And the Ft. Worth zoo is pretty big and would be difficult to do in a visit (with 3 kids).
Love seeing the girls enjoy things together. Here they are enjoying the King Cobra. 
This zoo always has some kind of snake out for the kids to “pet”. They love to do it and it’s such a neat experience! 
And there’s nothing like a ride on the bronze komodo dragon to end the visit. 
All in all it was a good day! Evie and I will be flying to KY Thursday and we’re so excited! Hope she will SIT STILL for 2 hours. It will be a struggle for sure!
